EXTRA, EXTRA - READ ALL ABOUT IT

Read our latest report from the recent "Protecting our Seniors" Community Forum held at Orchard Creek Lodge.  Over 153 people attended.  Just click on Minutes, then Latest.  Especially read the very last page on How do I Avoid Being a Victim? prepared by Placer County District Attorney's Office.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: 

National Night Out -  is on Tuesday, August 4, 2009.  Please refer to the National Night Out Guidelines and new National Night Out Registration Form that can be downloaded from your Neighborhood Watch website under Documents then click on Forms. If you plan on closing off your street, the Encroachment Permit needs to be submitted to me by NEW DEADLINEJune 22 for submission to the Lincoln Police Department.  AFTER JUNE 22, COMPLETED PERMITS CAN BE DELIVERED DIRECTLY TO LINCOLN POLICE DEPARTMENT. They require at least 30 days processing time.  The approved permits will be returned to you late July.

NW Summer Symposium for Coordinators and Mail Box Captains on Monday, August 24 from 1-3 in Orchard Creek Ballroom to introduce the many wonderful service groups available here in Sun City Lincoln HIlls.  Stay tuned for further details.

ONLY 6 COORDINATORS NEEDED:  We need Village Coordinators for the following villages:  1A&1B, 5B,  30A, 38B and 39.  Only 6 villages remaining.  Anyone interested should contact Ken Sheehan at 434-7712.  You need not reside in that village if you have a desire to become a Coordinator.  

CELEBRATION TIME!   Looking for volunteers to march in SCLH's Anniversary Celebration Parade section for Neighborhood Watch holding our new Neighborhood Watch Banner and National Night Out Banner (3 persons each).  The Parade is scheduled for Saturday, September 12.  The 10th Anniversary Celebration is from September 12 through 15.

MORE NEW COORDINATORS: Please welcome Rene Lopez,  new Village22A Coordinator, Arlene Lawrence and Diana Lee, newVillage 3A Co-Coordinators, and Marianne Kleman and Susan Jewell new Village 16A Co-Coordinators
